Develop long and lean muscle, improve balance and enhance your flexibility with our Barre class. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. You will gain strength, and tone those hard-to-target muscles in your core, arms, and legs. This class is for anyone—no matter your age, weight, or fitness level—can hit the bar and get results.
This class will be a mix of boot camp, circuit and HIIT exercises. This hour long class will target your muscular endurance, strength and burn fat. Participants will work through various exercises for either a set amount of time or number of reps. Leslie will motivate and push you for a great full body workout.
Suspension Training is a workout system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise. Suspension training develops core body strength, as well as joint and muscular stability. Because of its demands on the core, suspension training provides a complete total body workout.
You can command Power, Strength, and Agility with this military inspired workout that will push you to your limits. As you maneuver your way through each workout station, you'll lunge, kick, crunch, box, cycle, and more for a full body workout. In the end, you'll leave class feeling exhilarated.
Exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. This involves placing more emphasis on pelvic and scapular stabilization, and integration of all the parts of the body into one. As well, preparatory exercises and modifications allow the technique to be appropriate for many different body types and abilities, making it applicable to sport-specific training and everyday life.
